Matullo and Sons Inc., a family owned enterprise, has been in the construction business since 1983. The enterprise was incorporated with the formation of Oriole Builders as a subsidiary. They are prime builders of custom homes as well as home remodelers and renovation specialists in the southern Maryland area. As a certified Maryland Home Improvement Commission Contractor, Matullo and Sons also provides contracting services for home improvement including additions second story additions, garages, decks, sunrooms and major remodeling of all types.
The Company is dedicated to provide personalized service to its clients. Matullo and Sons Inc. takes great pride in building quality homes in the traditional manner with strict quality assurance of materials and workmanship, and on-the-job personal supervision of all phases of construction. Dependent upon scheduling, all carpentry work is performed directly by the Company. Michael Matullo is lead carpenter and project supervisor, and has over 27 years construction experience with over 300 new housing starts.
Quality subcontracting specialists, known and trusted, are used to perform electrical, mechanical and plumbing work. Each subcontractor is bonded and carries their own liability and risk insurance in addition to the full liability/risk insurance of Matullo and Sons Inc. Under normal conditions, the Company chooses to perform all of its own framing and trim work, not because of its families long heritage in construction, but because the measure of excellence is consistent devotion to detail not otherwise easily obtained.
