Matullo and Sons Inc. specializes in custom remodeling and major renovation work. We work with architects and designers on major custom additions, second story additions, bathroom and kitchen remodeling, decks and balconies are just some of the projects that the Company performs with the same quality and professional workmanship that is the hallmark of each of its custom home projects. Each major re-model project is carefully planned; the company also performs much of its design and CAD work so that the client knows exactly what the final product will look like and is able to make changes to suit their particular life style. Each major re-model project is planned and specified in a drawing and plan design that the client approves before construction begins. Re-modeling work is markedly different from new construction in that there is a greater need for ‘relationship building’ where you are working in and around an occupied house where every wall can be a challenge. Unexpected wiring, plumbing and duct work are just some of the problems faced by the remodeler. The remodeler and his crew must be aware at all times of the sensitivity of working in an occupied house. We routinely provide our own labor crew under the direction of an on site Matullo family member at all times. Small things like keeping the job swept clean each day and making sure pets are secure by keeping doors closed, dust control measures are just some of the tasks not normally faced by sub contractors and large developers.
Matullo and Sons specializes in remodeling and custom construction of waterfront properties where ‘critical area’ requirements and local codes and restrictions apply.
